Over the past ten years Deborah has experienced a gradual fascination for the process of Raku firing and mask forms. She loves the unique elements that this type of firing brings to each piece. The magic of the mask and fire together evoke for her an essence of something ancient.

Founding member of Coastal Claymakers, a community of ceramics artists on the Mid North Coast of NSW, Deborah has also been involved with two other ceramic artists creating a sculpture which resides permanently in the Coffs Harbour Botanical Gardens.

Debbie is an experienced sailor having a vast array of travelling adventures to nourish her artistic spirit. Hopefully she will retain her land-legs a little while longer for our benefit.
