Violeta Lanza

Sculptor

Born in France to Spanish parents, Violeta’s family moved to Australia in the 1960’s for a better life. Growing up in suburban Canberra, her childhood was spent surrounding herself with all creatures furred and feathered. She loved animals and therefore loved to draw and sculpt them. Now in her adult years, she still loves to sculpt and draw, using paper mache as the material to sculpt with. In her 2D work she likes to work with pencil, pastel and black pen.
