Oasis Moon Gallery was created to showcase the diversity of Australian artists on the North Coast of NSW. At any given time there can be up to 50 painters, jewellers or sculptors on display.
Tired of the regulation and limitations traditional galleries have instilled over the years, in artists and viewers alike; Graham Richardson wanted to create an inviting, eclectic, approachable venue welcoming the man on the street. A peaceful, inspiring place offering the public a broader spectrum of art and choice.
The heritage site of the old butter factory in Bellingen on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales seemed a perfect spot to begin. The trip through the beautiful Bellinger Valley along the picturesque Waterfall Way, only 20 minutes south of Coffs Harbour, is a perfect way to unwind and experience Bellingen's past heritage and culture.
At the east end of town, nestled against the beautiful Bellingen Golf Course, is the unique 100 year old Butter Factory where, amidst a peaceful garden atmosphere, you will be impressed by the range and quality of the arts, crafts and gifts for sale, and the talents of the people who have created them.
